Competition for Compassion

Students in middle school and high school are invited to compete in a month-long toy drive here at New City!

All gifts will be donated to UrbanPromise Charlotte, a local nonprofit organization that provides Charlotte's children and youth with the spiritual, academic, and social development necessary to become Christian leaders determined to restore their communities. New City also invites you to join Christmas Promise Shop, a chance to bless families who attend UrbanPromise's programs by volunteering or donating to stock the shop with gifts.

On Sundays, students will bring their toy donations to their small groups leaders for collection. Each grade will compete against the other to see who can donate the most gifts for UrbanPromise, and the winning grade will receive a Christmas cookie and hot cocoa party!
