A Cupboard Ally delivers groceries to families struggling in poverty or in crisis and seeks to be an intentional friend. Deliveries are made to 2–6 families one Saturday a month. The families assigned to you are families that you will be serving monthly for as long as there is a need. The Saturday delivery day is determined in advance and is typically the same Saturday (ex. 2nd Saturday) each month. Cupboard Allies are needed in both Indian Trail and Marshville.
Allies are encouraged to check in with their families on a regular basis by phone, text, or email.
Cupboard Allies must:
- Be 21 or older (although children under 21 are encouraged to join their parents for delivery)
- Have an insured vehicle
- Pass a background check
