Serve at the Learning Center

Join us on Tuesdays and Thursdays for an after-school Learning Center for kids in East Charlotte.

As part of New City's Place of Peace—a ministry designed to strategically build gospel-centered relationships with the neighbors in the Ashley Place Apartment complex—we are providing educational skill-building and homework help to students, K-5th grade, living in the apartments.

The Learning Center meets from 4:30–6:00 pm. This past school year, we launched on Tuesday afternoons. For the fall of 2024, we are planning to add a second day on Thursdays. Volunteers do not have to commit to serve both days.
